Edlib-sekvenssammenligningsværktøj der bruger edit distance

Edlib er et simpelt og super hurtigt C/C++-bibliotek til sekvenssammenligning via edit distance. Denne pakke tilbyder en sammenligner, der bruger dette bibliotek.

Funktioner i libedlib:

 * Beregner edit distance (Levehnstein distance)
 * Kan finde optimale sammenligningssti (instruktioner om transformering
   af den første sekvens til den anden sekvens)
 * Understøtter flere sammenligningsmetoder: global(NW), prefix(SHW) og
   infix(HW), hver af dem nyttige i forskellige scenarier
 * Du kan udvide tegnlighedsdefinitionen, så du f.eks. kan have jokertegn,
   for sammenligning uden hensyn til store/små bogstaver eller til at
   arbejde med degenererede nukleotider
 * Kan nemt håndtere små eller meget store sekvenser, selv når
   sammenligningsstier skal findes, men med meget lille hukommelsesforbrug
 * Super hurtig takket være Myers' bit-vektor algoritme
