Akregator é um leitor de feeds de news. Permite-lhe seguir sites de notícias, blogs e outros sites web com RSS/Atom activo sem a necessidade de verificar manualmente por actualizações usando um explorador web. O akregator é desenhado para ser fácil de usar e suficientemente poderoso para ler centenas de fontes de notícias convenientemente. Vem com integração com o Konqueror para adicionar feeds de notícias e com um explorador interno para leitura de notícias facilitada.
