Courier Mail Server - 기본 시스템

Courier Mail Transfer Agent(MTA)는 ESMTP, IMAP, POP3, LDAP, TLS, 그리고 HTTP 같은 오픈 커뮤니티 프로토콜에 기초한 통합 메일/그룹웨어 서버입니다. Courier는 일관된 단일 프레임워크내에서 ESMTP, IMAP, POP3, 웹메일, 그리고 메일링 리스트 서비스를 제공합니다.

이 패키지는 설정 파일들, helper 프로그램, Courier TCP 서버 데몬같은 courier 패키지가 필요로 하는 필수 요소를 제공합니다.

Courier는 다른 어플리케이션에 TLS 지원을 내장하는 대신 couriertls라는 TLS 래퍼 어플리케이션을 사용합니다. 또한 이 패키지는 trusted X.509 root CA certs의 기본 세트를 포함합니다.
