server telnet con gestione di cifratura SSL

Il programma in.telnetd è un server che gestisce il protocollo interattivo di comunicazione telnet della DARPA (Defence Advanced Research Project Agency).

SSL telnetd sostituisce il normale telnetd usando l'autenticazione e la cifratura SSL. Funziona insieme al normale telnetd in entrambe le direzioni. Controlla se anche l'altro lato usa SSL, se non è così ripiega sul normale protocollo telnet.

Vantaggi sul normale telnetd: le password e i dati inviati non vanno in chiaro sulla linea.
