YAZ è un toolkit per lo sviluppo di software client e server costruito intorno allo standard ANSI Z39.50 (ISO 23950) per il recupero di informazioni.

YAZ gestisce Z39.50-2003 (versione 3), versioni SRU da 1.1 a 2.0 e l'API ZOOM standard industriale per Z39.50.

Questo pacchetto fornisce le librerie yaz, yaz-icu e yaz-server.
