Libreria che invia notifiche dal desktop a un demone di notifica come definito nelle specifiche Desktop Notifications. Queste notifiche possono essere usate per informare l'utente su eventi o mostrare alcuni tipi di informazione senza intralciare l'utente.

Questo pacchetto contiene la libreria condivisa. Per vedere realmente le notifiche è necessario installare il pacchetto notification-daemon o qualsiasi altro ambiente desktop che implementa le specifiche FreeDesktop del demone di notifica.
