OSS Proxy Daemon: emulazione OSS in spazio utente

OSS Proxy Daemon è un'implementazione di device audio OSS (/dev/[a]dsp e /dev/mixer) in spazio utente per Linux che usa CUSE. Attualmente gestisce l'inoltro dei flussi audio OSS verso PulseAudio e ALSA.

Emulare effettivamente i dispositivi OSS produce un'emulazione più robusta in confronto ai wrapper OSS che usano LD_PRELOAD, come aoss e padsp. Funziona meglio anche quando si eseguono applicazioni di architetture estranee o quando si usano vecchie versioni di libc per ragioni di compatibilità.
