file system cluster (pacchetto server)

GlusterFS è un file system a cluster capace di scalare fino a parecchi peta-byte. Aggrega vari blocchi di storage tramite interconnessioni Infiniband RDMA o TCP/IP in un grosso file system di rete parallelo. GlusterFS è uno dei file system più sofisticati in termini di funzionalità ed estensibilità. Prende in prestito dal kernel GNU Hurd il concetto dei Traduttori. La maggior parte del codice di GlusterFS è in spazio utente ed è facilmente gestibile.

Questo pacchetto installa i binari del server gluster, i file di script e di configurazione per trasformare GlusterFS in un file server completo.
