how-can-i-help si aggancia ad APT per elencare le opportunità per contribuire a Debian (pacchetti orfani, bug etichettati come "newcomer") per i pacchetti installati in locale, dopo ogni chiamata di APT. Può anche essere invocato direttamente e in questo caso elenca tutte le opportunità per contribuire (non solo quelle nuove).
