uWSGI mette a disposizione uno stack completo per applicazioni web di rete e in cluster, implementando il trasferimento di messaggi e oggetti, la cache, le RPC e la gestione dei processi. È progettato per essere completamente modulare. Questo significa che plugin differenti possono essere usati per aggiungere compatibilità con molte tecnologie diverse sulla base dello stesso nucleo.

Questo pacchetto di dipendenze fornisce tutti i plugin disponibili per WSGI:

   - Fiber (Ruby 2.7),

   - thread nativi Ruby (Ruby 2.7),
   - tornado (Python 3).

I plugin greenlet e gevent sono forniti solo nelle architetture gestite.
