Questo pacchetto fornisce un soundfont (sf2) che può essere usato da FluidSynth, Timidity e WildMidi per riprodurre MIDI (e file tipo MIDI) usando i campioni creati dal chip OPL3 (SB16/YM262). Ciò permette anche ad applicazioni come DOSBox, ZDoom e altre di riprodurre MIDI senza dover emulare un OPL3, che può essere costoso in termini di utilizzo della CPU se emulato accuratamente.
Questo pacchetto sarà installato in /usr/share/sounds/sf2/.
