StrongSwan - dæmonopstarter og konfigurationsfilfortolker

StrongSwan VPN-programpakken bruger den medfølgende IPsec-stak i standardkernen for Linux. Den understøtter både IKEv1- og IKEv2- protokollerne.

Opstarteren og det associerede »ipsec«-skript kontrollerer charondæmonen fra kommandolinjen. Den fortolker ipsec.conf og indlæser konfigurationerne til dæmonen.
