POCO C++ Libraries er en samling af C++-klassebiblioteker, i åben kildekode, som forenkler og accelerer udviklingen af netværkscentriske, flytbare programmer i C++. Bibliotekerne integrerer sig perfekt med C++-standardbiblioteket og udfylder mange funktionelle huller efterladt af dette bibliotek.
POCO er bygget alene med brug af standarden ANSI/ISO C++, inklusive standardbiblioteket. Bidragyderne forsøger at finde en god balance mellem at bruge avancerede C++-funktioner og at holde klasserne forståelige og koden ren, konsistent og nem at vedligeholde.
POCO består af fire grundbiblioteket, og et antal udvidelsesbiblioteker. Grundbibliotekerne er Foundation, XML, Util og Net. To af udvidelsesbibliotekerne er NetSSL, der tilbyder SSL-understøttelse for netværksklasser i Net-biblioteket, og Data, et bibliotek for ensartet adgang til forskellige SQL-databaser.
