Kompressionsbibliotek for XZ-formatet

XZ er efterfølger til algoritmekompressionsformatet Lempel-Ziv/Markov-chain, som har stort hukommelsesforbrug men effektiv pakning (ofte bedre end bzip2) og hurtig, nem udpakning.

Det oprindelige format på liblzma er XZ; liblzma understøtter rå (teksthovedfri) strømme og det ældre LZMA-format brugt af lzma. (Til 7-Zips relaterede formater, brug i steden for pakken p7zip).
