Ksh er en UNIX-kommandofortolker (skal) som er lavet for både interaktiv brug og brug i skalskripter. Dets kommandosprog er et supersæt af sh(1)-skalsproget.

1993-versionen tilføjer et antal nye, hovedsagelig skriptrelateret, funktioner over 1988-versionen som typisk distribueres med kommercielle UNIX-varianter. For eksempel har fortolkeren leksikal afgrænsning, compound-variabler, associerede array'er, navngivne referencer og flydende heltalsmatematik.

Værktøjet shcomp kan bruges til at kompilere ksh-scripts til et binært format.
