音乐播放器守护程序

音乐播放器守护程序（MPD）是一个能远程控制音频播放（Ogg-Vorbis、FLAC、MP3、 Wave 和 AIFF）、音频串流（Ogg-Vorbis、MP3）并管理播放列表的服务器。它也 支持无缝切换、输出缓冲和交叉渐变。其设计重点是将计算机控制集成到立体声系统中， 使之能通过 TCP/IP 控制音乐回放；目标是在易于安装和使用、尽可能减少资源占用 的情况下（据报道在奔腾 75 上也工作正常）还能保证稳定和灵活。

本守护程序通过客户端控制，客户端不一定与 mpd 运行在同一台电脑上。服务端与客户 端分离的设计让用户能选择最适合自己的用户界面，而与底层实际播放音乐的进程（本 软件包）无关。
