vínculo padrão Python para as bibliotecas libxml2 e libxslt

lxml é um novo vínculo Python para libxml2 and libxslt, completamente independente de vínculos Pythons existentes. Seu objetivo é:

  * API padrão Python.
  * Documentado.
  * Utilizar frases Python unicode em API.
  * Segurança (sem segfaults).
  * Sem gerenciamento manual de memória!

lxml objetiva fornecer uma API padrão Python aproveitando ao máximo possível a API ElemenTree, evitando inventar novas APIs em excesso ou que o(a) usuário(a) tenha que aprender coisas novas -- XML já é complicado o suficiente.
