emulador de terminal estilo Quake baseado na tecnologia Konsole KDE

YaKuake é inspirado no terminal do jogo Quake: quando você aperta uma tecla (F12 por padrão, mas pode ser mudada) uma janela de terminal desce do alto da tela. Pressionando a tecla novamente, o terminal é recolhido.

Ele é mais rápido que uma tecla de atalho, pois ele já está carregado na memória e é, portanto, muito útil para aqueles que alternam muito em janelas de terminal.
